THE IDEA
A familiar little character.
A considered identity.
A gecko belongs naturally in the story of a South African home. Its curled body becomes a memorable symbol: a soft, open G, a watchful head and a few simple toes.
Mineral blue gives the identity a clear, airy foundation. Porcelain and pale blue open up the page, while soft terracotta adds a warm, human note. The result balances cool air with the warmth of home.
The tone is personal and practical. Distinct from Kon-Struct’s industrial red and graphite, but connected through Gerhard and a shared respect for good work.
THE LOGO FAMILY
A mark that feels
at home.
The curled gecko is the recognisable signature. The lowercase wordmark pairs a firm “gecko” with a lighter “air”. All supplied SVG lettering is outlined, so the artwork keeps its shape without installing fonts.
Give it room.
Leave at least half the symbol’s width clear around the full logo. Keep it away from page edges, busy photography and other marks.
Keep it legible.
Use the full logo at 140 px wide or larger on screen, and approximately 35 mm or larger in print. Use the symbol for compact placements; proof it at the final size.
Keep it consistent.
Use the supplied colours or single-colour versions. Don’t stretch, rotate, outline, add shadows or separate the letters. Keep small-print backgrounds plain.
COLOUR PALETTE
A breath of blue.
A touch of warmth.
The breathing room. Main backgrounds.
The invitation. Buttons and warm accents.
The supporting note. Panels and quieter spaces.
The anchor. Dark backgrounds and fine detail.
Suggested balance: 60% porcelain, 20% mist, 15% mineral blue and 5% terracotta. The balance is guidance, not a fixed formula.
Readable pairings: mineral text on porcelain or mist; ink-blue text on terracotta; porcelain text on mineral or ink blue. Avoid small apricot text on porcelain. HEX and RGB values are supplied; ask your printer to proof colour for the selected material and print process.
TYPOGRAPHY
Clear in conversation.
Warm in character.
Manrope is the primary website typeface: open, simple and contemporary. Georgia Italic adds a softer note to short headline phrases.
Use sentence case, generous spacing and short paragraphs. Reserve uppercase tracking for small labels. The logo uses supplied outlined artwork; don’t recreate it by typing the business name.

BUSINESS CARD / LAYOUT CONCEPT
IMAGERY & GRAPHIC LANGUAGE
Show the feeling.
Prove the work.
Use natural light, real materials, lived-in rooms and local landscapes. Let curved framing and fine airflow lines soften otherwise simple layouts. Use service illustrations to identify solutions, plain text links for navigation and a small speech-bubble cue only for the main contact action. Avoid repeated arrow badges.
Use genuine project photography when available, with accurate captions. Generated lifestyle imagery can set a mood but must never be presented as an installation completed by Gecko Air.
